The Other Guys, It Happened in Brooklyn, Paper Planes.
Yesterday the family got together and we went movie watching. We decided to catch “The Other Guys” at South Point rather than heading down to Towns Square. If you aren’t familiar with either one, google them + Las Vegas. I’m a fan of Will Ferrell as well as Mark Wahlberg and the trailer looked too funny to pass up on, so this movie was on my list. It came out being an enjoyable movie that focused more on the main characters and less on a plot, fine by me. Not to mention Eva Mendes was in the movie looking as sexy as ever and the scenes she was in were hilarious. We all enjoyed the movie and if you’re into silly movies that don’t take themselves too seriously, I’d recommend it.
As far as today, I’ve been waiting for the Playstation Store update so I can checkout Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The movie looks fun and so does the game, more on that when they’re both out.
Earlier today I turned on the TV after taking care of some backyard chores that I didn’t mind doing. Besides, it was nice to get some sun as well. Did you know that the sun can put you in a better mood? Just don’t over do it people. Look it up if you’re interested. I came across this old movie starring Frank Sinatra called “It Happened in Brooklyn”. I don’t watch black and white movies much and I’m not a big fan of musicals but “It Happened in Brooklyn” was enjoyable. I’m glad to read afterward that this was a feel good movie and in all honesty, their messages were pretty uplifting.
What was the last good movie you watched? Old or new. Do you still find yourself enjoying the little things in life? Or have you let the evils of life get the best of you? Do you find yourself complaining a lot or simply not caring at all? If you’ve forgotten what it is to be balanced in life, it’s about time you start working on yourself..for the better.
If you don’t know who I am. I’m Hip-Hop artist Asael. I’ve put out 2 mixtapes as well as a Compilation Trilogy mixtape since last year. “Rebel of This Era” (2009) was my first mixtape with “Black Friday” (2009) following soon after. During the first quarter of 2010, I put out a series of mixtapes known as “Before the World Went Mad” Volumes (2010). With 3 in total, they’re known better as the “Before the World Went Mad Trilogy”. The Trilogy consists of unreleased material of mine that spans from 2007 thru 2008 or 2009.
Down below is a song off my mixtape “Rebel of This Era” known as the “Paper Planes (Remix)” from the song of the same name by M.I.A. If you enjoy, feel free to leave your comments below and explore the rest of my music.
