New Nintendo Wii U system upscales Wii games to 1080p

Nintendo Wii U is the newest and latest video game console on the market

The newest and latest system/console to come out in 6 years to compliment your living room, bedroom, or Man Cave came out on the 18th of November, 2012 in America. It’s called the Nintendo Wii U and it’s NOT an additional attachment to your existing Nintendo Wii. Nor is the Nintendo Wii U a new controller for your existing Wii. For comparison reasons, think of the Wii U like going from the NES to the Super NES, the Playstation 2 to the Playstation 3, the Xbox to the Xbox 360. We’re talking about a new system here. New games, better graphics, bigger games, all in HD. As of this writing, the Wii U has been released across the world with Japan being the latest country to get into MiiVerse, more on that later.

Nintendo Wii U is compatible to Wii controllers

For those shopping but have no idea what the Wii U is, but have the original Wii, your games and controllers are compatible with the new system. This means that you can continue playing all your classic Wii games on the new Nintendo Wii U. This also means that if you’re tight on cash but want to upgrade to the new system, you can feel good about your purchase. This being because you can hold back on buying the latest games on the Wii U if you have a collection of Wii games you already purchased.

The new Nintendo Wii U gaming system upscales games from the original Wii to 1080p

If you don’t know what that means, that’s okay. If you have an HD TV and always wondered why your Wii games looked like crap compared to your PS3 or Xbox 360 games, that’s okay. Now you need wonder no more, by inserting your original Wii games into your new Wii U system, your games just got the upscale to 1080p treatment. Don’t know what that means? That’s okay. All you need to know &  do is start playing your Wii games on your new Wii U and enjoy the better images on your big HD TV. Below are some images of Wii games inserted in the original Wii and then the same game being played on the Wii U. Enjoy the upscale difference.
